Jolywood Material BU delegation visited South Korean clients, empowering collaborations in n-type modules

Led by General Manager Xudong Chen, a delegation from Jolywood PV Material Business Unit, comprising CTO Fute Zhang and the Marketing Center Team Manager, embarked on a journey to South Korea. The focus of the trip is to introduce Jolywood Material BU's n-type Topcon bifacial one-stop solution for encapsulation, fostering stronger connections with longstanding local clients, and exploring additional collaboration opportunities.


For five consecutive years, Jolywood PV Material BU has sustained partnerships with various renowned South Korean module manufacturers. Serving as the exclusive supplier of backsheets for these clients, Jolywood PV Material BU has garnered trust and praise due to its delivery of top-notch products and services. Currently, the total shipment volume of Jolywood backsheets to South Korea has exceeded 8 GW, solidifying their position as the favored option for photovoltaic backsheets in the South Korean market.


In this visit, the Material BU delegation delivered a detailed presentation to clients on the performance and benefits of the n-type TOPCon bifacial single-glass module. They also highlighted the convenience and economic advantages offered by the one-stop encapsulation solution. The return to classic single-glass modules and reliable encapsulation solutions received applause from clients, who expressed high appreciation for Jolywood Material BU's innovative capabilities and professional services.

 

In addition to persistently providing high-quality backsheets, Jolywood Material BU also intends to foster extensive collaboration with Korean clients across various domains, including PV auxiliary materials and cells. Through this all-round partnership, Jolywood aim to offer customers a more thorough and efficient PV encapsulation solution.

 


During the visit, the delegation also toured the PV demo site of the Korean clients. This 1MW power station has been constructed in phases since 2008 and has been operational for over 15 years. The modules currently in use are Jolywood FFC transparent grid bifacial single-glass modules, installed and connected to the grid since 2019, showcasing excellent stability.


The trip to South Korea has been productive, signifying a substantial advancement in the collaboration between Jolywood PV Material BU and Korean clients in PV encapsulation solution. The clients have demonstrated considerable interest in Jolywood encapsulation solutions, incorporating sample requests into their schedules.
